Species we are currently allowing in school.
Vampires
A vampire is created when a person is bitten by a pure blood then fed vampire blood. This is rare now that so many pure bloods have gone into dead comas or a forever sleep. Once turned, they suffer from blood lust and must feed on blood, human or animal, to survive. Scientists that work for the paranormal have created a humanity pill. This pill must be taken once every month so a vampire can continue to remain sane, the pill contains a chemical that allows a small amount of blood to go a long way. Allowing a vampire to fill their stomachs without draining a person to the point of death.
Though not all legends are true while harsh direct sunlight to a vampire's eyes can be deadly and turn them to ash. Vampires can handle it on their skin, with enough sun screen of course or enough clothes. Garlic is more of a allergy and is only fatal if enough is ingested or entered directly into the blood stream.
Age is also a factor. Though they don't seem it vampires do age extremely slowly. 100 human years can equal out 1 year to a vampires. They have an average life span. 80 vampire years (8000 HY) is the normal age for a vampire to pass on. Pure bloods often go into Foreversleep around that time.
Powers:
Strength - 100x their own weight.
Speed - 600mph if on flat land.
Super senses - Ear/Eyes/Smell
Werewolfs
Werewolves are humans that transform into wolf-like creatures under the influence of a full moon. Necklaces of pure silver are used to contain the transformation. Making it less painful and forcing the creature into submissions so they are unable to harm others and/or themselves. The infection and resultant affliction is commonly referred to as lycanthropy. Werewolfs don't go full out unless a full moon, but during the month of a full moon, they gain the ability to change forms between human an life size wolfs. Some don't remember their changes or what happens during it, older Werewolfs have learned how to remember.
The only confirmed way to kill a werewolf is by piercing its heart with a sliver dagger dipped in the blood of a virgin.
Pureblood werewolves are different than other werewolves. The closer they are to the Alpha werewolf in generations, the more they can control themselves. These werewolves can transform at any time, their human side has more control in wolf form and they can chose to feed on animal hearts instead of human hearts, but once they get a taste of a human heart, it is nearly impossible to resist the urge to feed on humans. As humans they can eat normally.
Powers:
(Werewolf Forms)
Strength - 150x weight
Speed - 800mph
Super Senses- All
Witches
A witch is a person who has the power to effect change by magical means "witchcraft." Witches can be very powerful and although they look human they are far from it. Because they open their souls to gain the power of witch craft, their bodies contain pneumonia that is very deadly to anyone who attack them, the poison of course is only dangerous if the witch feels threatened.
Witches are elemental, though only the Head Witches or their unfollowers can cause open magic without the uses of "Witch Sticks" not to be confused with a Wizards wand. Witch sticks are made by petrified wood and has their element filled inside. (Fire = Ash, Water = Holy water, Earth = An olive leaf, Air = Smoke.)
Young witches are held down by simple holds. They can't make long lasting effects on large objects, and living creatures. Their best work are potions.
Power:
Element: Fire - Small flames, large only if fire is near.
Water - Can freeze small doses of water, make small waves.
Earth - Can bloom flowers, create vines.
Air - 3ft wind tornatoes, a light breeze.
Wizards
Wizards are similar to witches, though they are stronger in many ways.
Though weak in main elements and potions. Wizards can effect environments from making a bed into a pair of chairs to lifting people a foot of the ground. Still every one has a higher power.
The Councilmen Wizards are the top dogs and are some of the most powerful beings alive and are known to live half the age of vampires in human years. Wizards can do a lot of parlor tricks while young but to heavy magic they need time and concentration to do such things as destroying a wall that could take up to an hour or finding a person miles away that could take longer. They would also need to use candles, charms, and salt....lots of salt. They must also study languages. The CW of course can do wordless magic but young wizards have a lot of time and work till they can reach that level.
Powers:
Word magic.
Parlor Tricks.
Simple magic.
Angels or Winglings
Known to holy creatures from heaven, humaniods with the wings similar to birds. "Holy" is a give or take word. Of course in DRH were here to teach, becoming dark or light is all up to you. Angels keep to the human theory. With human like bodies and bird like wings. They have no real powers besides the fact they can control light. Able to bend it, make it brighter, or reflect it off their skin. It is also said Angels can carry light in their hands for hours and move it to another place to give it light. Their wings tend to be light colors.
Winglings the Angel cousin is known as their darker half. Winglings have four wings two large ones on their upper back while the smaller ones come from their mid back. They control shadows. Similar to the powers of the Angels. Remove shadows, carry them and make more. Wings tend to be dark.
Wings are self appearing, high emotions tend to make them appear, danger, or by mental want but it takes training.
Powers:
Explained above.
Imps
These tend to people that enjoy to cause trouble. People that can change from natural human sizes to hardly the size of a pencil. They have wings, but only obtain them in imp form. In human form four knob bumps under their skin on their spines along with having skin with unnatural colors and designs inked in their skin, though its like a dust of colors on their skin and almost like tattoos, Imps tend to have harder times in blending into the human world.
Powers:
Resizing.
Glowing.
Sharp nails, and teeth.
Ghosts
Humans that have passed, but not beyond the earth still need to "grow" up. Though some tend to let their soul turn dark ending them into old grumpy ghost that haunt houses. Ghosts are visible in bright lights to humans its the reason they live in dark places like basements and old buildings. Paranormal can see and feel them at all times, where as Ghost have to allow humans to do so.
They look human and move and work like them. DRH have spells that force ghosts to remain visible at all times and look solid, though enough shade can hide them and they can remain smokey and untouchable.
Ghost can move through wall but can't control object and can't lift large objects unless up set where they tend to send objects flying or breaking.
Powers:
Walk through walls.
Disappear.
Fly. (Though not very high.)
Physic powers: Hypnosis and Sickness.
Human (Lambs)
Thats right. Human's are going to the school for monsters.
Lambs as most the other students call them. Lambs are humans that gave up their lives to work for the Paranormal. The younger ones go to school here to brush up on their knowledge but are also used for class to help creatures learn to live with humans.
Humans have no real powers but the band they where on their wrists. It's made to fully protect a human if they feel threaten by the paranormal. Harming one is a bad idea and you'll be put through a court to see if you should be allowed in; if you killed one, you will be expelled and sent to your "Elders" to be dealt with.

And I'll do research on it and me and my admins will check it out if we approve
